Launch new website and functions

Like you probably expected from PriorWeb, we like to innovate and evolve with the latest trends in the hosting world. A year and a half ago, we were amongst the pioneers on the market to launch PHP5 and the possibility to use both in a combined environment. Today PriorWeb launches a new website and other big related changes. Not only does the website look very modern and clean, we also improved the user experience on different levels. As of today, we are completely bilingual (Dutch / English), and we almost doubled the data traffic limits for all webhosting packages. We also launched new versions of Controlpanel, Mailmanager, PriorBase and the OrderWizard. All customers where informed of the changes and new features via email.

All your domain names registered in realtime

Until today we registered .BE and .EU domain names in realtime for our existing customers, right after the order, and this to make sure that the domain name was your property once you ordered it. Because we received many positive feedback from our customers, we decided to expand this feature to all other extensions. As of today all domain names (with or without a hosting package) ordered by our existing customers will be registered in realtime. This is of course only for domain names which doesn't require any further contracts or actions. These extensions will be registered for our existing customers right after their online order: .BE, .EU, .COM, .NET, .ORG, .INFO, .BIZ, .NAME, .MOBI, .US, .WS, .TV, .CN, .CA, .NU, . BZ, .CC, .LA, .AC, .IO, .SH, .VG, .MS, .GS, .JP, .IN, .AT, .AM, .IT, .TC

Transfer your domain and receive a 15% discount

Today we launch a promotion that will make it even more interesting to transfer all of your existing domain names to PriorWeb. For every domain name that you transfer or trade to PriorWeb, you receive a discount of 15% on top of every other discount (coupons, reseller discount or long term discounts). Now more than ever is the change to bundle all of your domain names at PriorWeb, and add them for free to your existing webhosting package (transfer costs excluded). This promotion means a very interesting discount for all the domain names you transfer to us, but also for all the packages you buy with them. A domain transfer of a .BE domain name will now cost you only 17,54 EUR instead of 20,00 EUR normally. And webhosting packages are even more interesting, a package that normally costs 50,00 EUR will now cost only 42,50 EUR!

Increase traffic webhosting packages

Websites are becoming larger and larger these days, with a lot of online content, and this means it will influence the data traffic that your sites use. PriorWeb wants to tackle this problem and extend your possibilities even further. Therefore, as of today, we will increase the included data traffic of all new and existing webhosting packages. This is an overview of the old and new included traffic:

Webhosting Starter: 2GB to 5GB
Webhosting Economy: 4GB to 10GB
Webhosting Basic: 8GB to 15GB
Webhosting General: 10GB to 20GB
Webhosting Business: 12GB to 25GB
Webhosting Premium: 15GB to 30GB
Webhosting Gold: 25GB to 50GB
Webhosting Reseller: 40GB to 70GB

These new limits are active immediately, so also for your future calculations of monthly traffic. A nice extra feature is that we will also send you an email when you exceed your monthly included data traffic. This way you can react to tackle this problem and avoid extra billing, by disabling one or more subdomains or even upgrade to a higher webhosting package.

Today PriorWeb launches a new product, VirtualServer.

With your own virtual server you get a perfectly separated place on a bigger server, with all the functions and comfort of a regular dedicated server, but at a very interesting price. PriorWeb uses cutting edge virtualisation technology to achieve this. Your own VirtualServer will have it's own RAM memory and CPU power, without being dependant on other customers on the same server.

VirtualServer is the ideal combination of a large web hosting package and a dedicated server. Whereas a full dedicated server is often expensive and not necessary in most cases, but a shared web hosting package is not flexible enough when it comes to disk space and technical infrastructure, VirtualServer is the perfect alternative. And most of all: it comes with great features at the most affordable prices.
