Software > How do I configure Outlook Express?

Before you can configure your mailbox, you need to create it. More information about this can be found here.

1. Start Outlook Express

2. Open the menu Extra / Tools -> Accounts

3. Click the tab 'Email'. If other mail accounts are available, they will be displayed here.

4. Click Add -> Mail.

5. Enter your name. This will be displayed to your recipients as the sender of the message.

6. Enter the email address. When your recipient clicks 'Reply', this email address will be used to send replies to.

7. Enter the incoming and outgoing mail servers. Choose the server type, either POP3 or IMAP.

8. Enter the full e-mailaddress you are configuring as the account name. Enter the password you chose while creating the mailbox.

9. You have now added a new mail address. An overview of the configured accounts is now displayed. You new mail account is ready to be used.
