Software > How do I change the SMTP port in Vista Mail?
Most Belgian providers like Skynet, Telenet and Scarlet block the default SMTP port 25, so you can't use the PriorWeb SMTP server. That's why PriorWeb has a second SMTP server available on a port that isn't blocked by the providers.
1. Go to Tools -> Accounts.
2. Select your PriorWeb email account and hit 'Properties'.
3. Click the 'Advanced' tab, and change the value of the 'Outgoing mail (SMTP)' port from 25 to 587. Now click 'OK'.
You have now changed the SMTP port and should be able to send email using the PriorWeb SMTP server.
