Software > How can I subscribe myself to folders in Microsoft Outlook (IMAP)?

When you use the IMAP protocol to fetch your emails, you will have to subscribe yourself to all mail folders you would like to see in your mailbox overview. Normally this is something that is already done for you automatically. In some cases, however, the mail folders can disappear out of your overview, and you will need to manually subscribe to them again.

These are the instructions for subscribing to your mail folders in Microsoft Outlook.

1. Start Outlook and do a right-click on the account you wish to change. Now choose 'IMAP folders' from the menu.

2. Click on the 'All' tab. You will see an overview of all available folders on the server. You can now select the folders you like (it's also possible to select multiple folders at the same time).

3. After you selected all the folder you wish to subscribe to, click 'Subscribe'.

4. Now click 'OK' to confirm, and restart Outlook.
