Software > How can I subscribe myself to folders in Mozilla Thunderbird (IMAP)?

When you use the IMAP protocol to fetch your emails, you will have to subscribe yourself to all mail folders you would like to see in your mailbox overview. Normally this is something that is already done for you automatically. In some cases, however, the mail folders can disappear out of your overview, and you will need to manually subscribe to them again.

These are the instructions for subscribing to your mail folders in Mozilla Thunderbird.

1. Open Thunderbird and do a right-click on the account you want to change, and choose 'Subscribe' from the menu.

2. You will now get a tree view of your account, starting with 'INBOX'. Click on the plus sign to show all available mail folders.

3. You can now select the folders you wish to subscribe to.

4. Confirm the select by clicking 'OK' and restart Thunderbird.
