500 Internal server error
The problem
There is a problem on the web server, probably caused by an error in your software or file permissions.
The solution
If this is a PHP website, you need to check the permissions of the PHP script and the directory in which it resides. You need to make sure that only you (the user) has write permissions on the file and the directory. When other users or groups also have write permissions, this probably is causing the error to occur.
If you get this error whilst executing a Perl / CGI script, you could try and change the interpreter line to this:
#!/usr/bin/perl -w
