How can I change existing FTP accounts?
An FTP account is an additional account with access to a specific folder. This account is independent from the main account, it can for example be used to give access to your webmaster, only for a specific folder on your account.
If the option 'FTP accounts' is included in your package (all packages starting from General), you can add additional accounts via the Controlpanel.
1. Go to the Controlpanel and log on with your main FTP login details of the relevant webhosting account.
2. Click 'FTP accounts', then 'Show FTP accounts'.
3. You will now get an overview of all active FTP accounts. Click on 'Modify' to change a particular account.
4. You can now change the username, password or directory of the FTP account. When you don't want to change the password, leave the designated fields blank.
