Webhosting
Vulnerable software
Vulnerable software are software packages that are often targeted to be exploited. An exploit is a bug that resides in the software code which can be used to gain illegitimate control of your web hosting account.
It's important that when you install any software package onto your web hosting account, you regularly check if you still have latest version of it.
If you don't keep your software up-to-date it can lead to abuse of your account, and eventually a temporary lock by our tech team.
