PriorWeb supports Music For Life with hosting

The last two weeks, PriorWeb has provided and sponsored the hosting platform used for 'Tweet For Life', a charity initiative set up to support Music For Life. The website was hosted on a custom hosting solution in the PriorWeb cloud, which made sure that the website could withstand sudden visitor peaks.
With Tweet For Life, Belgian Twitter users have shown their care and commitment by giving up their Twitter account for just one tweet. The company that has the highest bid can decide which message of 140 characters will dominate the Belgian twittosphere for a day.
The campaign has come to an end and was won by Lampiris, a Belgian green power supplier, with a bid of 10.504,00 euro. With this bid, Lampiris will have a reach of more than 192.000 Twitter users and get to spread a unique message tomorrow.
The money from the bid will be handed over symbolically by Lampiris, at the Glazen Huis today on the Groenplaats in Antwerp. Everyone is welcome, of course! You can find more practical information about the event on Facebook.
